As everything both around, and within us, is in constant change, we play an important role in the process of the human development. I can see clearly now that the connection between architecture and the human condition is in direct relation with our perception of space, our appreciation of our home as a sacred space, and an awareness of the technological functions within our buildings that shapes our physical reality. Let’s face this brutal truth about life and its challenges, we all have areas in our life that we feel could be improved. Too often we wake up feeling that we are the only one struggling on this journey and there is always someone out there doing better than us and with whom we’d gladly trade places. When it boils down to it, we all have similar challenges and aspirations. We are meant to be happy. It is time for this shift to occur in a specially designed place within your home.

Our Human-Centred Design Formula combines scientifically proven methods and practices into the ultimate holistic design principle that, with simple, yet effective practical tools turns our spaces into ones that improve well-being and help us to relax as we generate and tune into the Earth’s healing energy in our home daily.

Our Methodology  model bellow represents the benefits our unique design provides to your dream home. First, it’s my design expertise, as I’ve been an architect for many years, combined with the overall best practice of sustainability, which is designing a passive house. On top of that, we use Eastern philosophies such as Ikigai and Feng Shui with heart, as I have also been deeply connected and trained in spiritual heart and yoga practices for decades. We introduce a new design coaching process into the design framework and with that you should expect to experience joy, experience growth and ultimately freedom.

A well-designed home serves as a stage on which the life of man unfolds leaving the human condition healthy. Its design and construction must be environmentally friendly and energetically balanced, while providing enough energy resources to support the Earth while it is. These optimal conditions directly support the natural process of growth and wellbeing.

Creating dedicated relaxation spaces and cultivating an attitude of gratitude can both have significant benefits for our overall wellbeing and sense of balance. Here are some ways in which these practices can help:

  1. Dedicated relaxation spaces can reduce stress: When we have a designated space in our home or workplace where we can go to relax, unwind, and recharge, it can help to reduce our overall stress levels. Being in a space that is designed for relaxation can help to signal to our bodies and minds that it’s time to slow down and take a break from the demands of daily life.
  2. Relaxation spaces can promote mindfulness: A dedicated relaxation space can also provide a quiet, peaceful environment that is conducive to mindfulness practices such as meditation or deep breathing. These practices can help to reduce anxiety, improve focus and concentration, and promote a sense of calm.
  3. Gratitude can improve mood: Focusing on gratitude and the positive aspects of our lives can help to improve our overall mood and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety. When we cultivate an attitude of gratitude, we become more aware of the good things in our lives, which can help to shift our focus away from negative thoughts and emotions.
  4. Gratitude can improve relationships: Expressing gratitude towards others can also help to strengthen our relationships and improve our social connections. When we express gratitude towards others, it can help to build feelings of trust, empathy, and mutual respect.
  5. Gratitude can improve physical health: Studies have shown that practicing gratitude can have physical health benefits such as lower blood pressure, improved immune function, and better sleep. When we focus on the positive aspects of our lives, it can help to reduce stress and improve our overall sense of wellbeing.

On top of that, the multisensory lighting installations can be a great addition to home design to promote relaxation and well-being. By combining different types of lighting and creating a visually stimulating environment, you can create a space that encourages relaxation and rejuvenation.

HIGH-PREFORMANCE BUILDING

Imagine a sustainable home that provides the maximum comfort for you and your family by keeping stable internal temperatures and a continuous supply of fresh air! This building standard, called passive house design, originally developed in Germany, can reduce heating needs by an astounding 90%. This target is reached by making the house incredibly well-insulated, virtually air-tight, and by designing with contemporary use of building physics.

The Passive House standard is based on the principles of super-insulation, airtightness, energy recovery ventilation and high-performance windows and doors. The goal is to create buildings that require very little energy to maintain comfortable temperatures, even in extreme weather conditions. Passive House design standard is an innovative approach to sustainable building design that prioritizes energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

A key feature of Passive House design is the use of airtight construction, which prevents heat from escaping through gaps and leaks in the building envelope. This is achieved through careful detailing and the use of high quality materials and construction techniques.

Another important aspect of Passive House design is the use of high performance windows and doors that have a low U-value and minimize heat loss. These windows are usually triple glazed and filled with an inert gas to provide better insulation.

In addition, Passive House buildings incorporate energy recovery ventilation systems that use heat exchangers to transfer heat from exhaust air to incoming fresh air. This allows for continuous ventilation without the need for additional heating or cooling.

As the world becomes increasingly focused on reducing carbon emissions and mitigating the impacts of climate change, Passive House design is an increasingly important aspect of sustainable building design.

Carefully analysing  the location, orientation, and design of a building can have a significant impact on the flow of energy within it. The size and layout of your home, the quality of the materials used in construction, and the efficiency of appliances and equipment, can also have an impact on the energy of a home.

Having a fresh air supply in your passive home design can have numerous positive effects on your physical and mental health. There are several health benefits to having a fresh air supply in your home design, including:

  1. Improved air quality: Fresh air supply can help reduce indoor air pollution by diluting and removing pollutants, such as dust, mold, and allergens, that can accumulate indoors.
  2. Enhanced respiratory health: Breathing in fresh air can improve lung function and increase oxygen levels in the blood, which can help prevent respiratory problems like asthma and allergies.
  3. Boosted immune system: Fresh air contains oxygen and negative ions that can help increase the body’s ability to fight off infections and illnesses.
  4. Increased energy levels: Fresh air can increase the body’s supply of oxygen, which can help improve energy levels and combat fatigue.
  5. Better sleep: Exposure to fresh air can help regulate the body’s circadian rhythm, leading to better sleep quality and duration.
  6. Reduced stress: Fresh air can help lower cortisol levels, a hormone associated with stress, which can help reduce feelings of anxiety and promote relaxation.

As another part of the Human-centred design formula equation we propose use of green natural design elements and features, such as plants, water, and natural light that we can enjoy/connect with on a daily basis. There are several ways in which greenery in home design can contribute to our well-being:

  1. Reduced stress and anxiety
  2. Improved cognitive function
  3. Enhanced mood
  4. Improved physical health
