Project Description

An office in Perth, Australia, needed architectural rendering of 5 small house designs of approx 50 sqm each and engaged me to do 2D and 3D drawings for eco-friendly summer houses in nature.

They supplied the design scheme and required CAD plans to be drawn up for marketing purposes, as well as of 3D model of each summer house, each one showing 2 simple roof styles .

The requirements were for each floor plan to be designed with a skillion roof option and pitched roof option. Floors were planned to be made from 162mm SIPS PANEl on a steel chassis on steel stumps every 4800mm, exterior walls were 142mm sips panel, while Interior Walls were 112mm sips panels. Roof panel was 162mm Sips panel.

External Wall Cladding were typically a colourbond custom orb sheet and or an acrylic rendered finish. Internal Wall linings were gypsum plasterboard – flushed & painted. Roof Top sheet was typically Colourbnd ‘Custom orb’ or Colourbond ‘Trimdeck’ with a ‘half round’ gutter and ’round downpipes’.
